5 day/4 night sample itinerary

San Juan/Ponce/Fajardo Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in San Juan. You will be greeted at the airport by your tour director. We will head to Old San Juan for a walking tour of the Old City followed by dinner.

Day 2: We will visit the historic Old San Juan. We will have a short lunch and head down to Ponce to a coffee plantation that produced some of the finest coffee in the world. On to exploring ancient indigenous ceremonial grounds. Our day will end with a stop at an iconic 100 year old fire station and the first ever built in Puerto Rico.

Day 3: We will head to the east coast of Puerto Rico, known for its breathtaking views and diverse ecosystems. Our first stop will be El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest in the National Forest Service system. After lunch, we will do a guided tour of a nature reserve where we will learn about mangroves, the bioluminescent bay and coral reefs.

Day 4: A catamaran will take us to an uninhabited beach for a day of snorkeling and/or swimming.

Day 5: Depart. If we have time, we will visit an outdoor market and the famous Piñones, where you can try local snacks.

Day 2: We will head to the world's largest single-dish radio telescope and check out one of the biggest cave systems in the world. It is truly a must see!

Day 3: We will visit the historic Old San Juan. We will have a short lunch and head down to Ponce to a coffee plantation that produced some of the finest coffee in the world. After lunch, we will do a guided tour of a nature reserve where we will learn about mangroves and coral reefs.
